The design of the house focuses on the connection between shelter and the natural landscape. A series of pavilion-like volumes frame courtyard gathering spaces and allow landscape to flow through. A combination of screening elements, trellises and overhangs provide transitional spaces with visually rich compositions characterized by textures of light and shadow, water features, and landscape.
