Jason Henning

Jason joined Guerin Glass’ Hawaii-based office in 2024 as an Intermediate Architect and has been a part of multiple local projects. He has primarily worked on Hale Makua, a rehabilitation facility to be built on Maui, as well as construction documentation for a hotel renovation in Waikiki and construction documents for a 1200 SF prefabricated housing unit. Jason is currently focused on an alternative conceptual study of the Hale Makua Rehabilitation Facility while working alongside healthcare consultants to include additional program and services.

Jason’s previous work experience includes international hospitality architecture and master-planning, landscape architecture, and non-profit/ community-based design efforts local to the island of Oahu. During college, he won first place in both a waterfront design competition and an urban activation project that was later built in Tampa, Florida. Additionally, he placed top three in a tiny home competition.
