Malcolm is the Director of Projects at Guerin Glass Architects (GGA). He joined GGA in 2013 to lead the construction administration process for the Ritz-Carlton Residences, a project that spans over one million square feet across two towers in Honolulu, HI. Malcolm has also been heavily involved with Lift One Lodge, an ongoing mixed-use hospitality development in Aspen, as well as W. 87th Street, a residential tower in Manhattan. Having practiced in the US and UK for over 30 years, he is currently overseeing GGA’s project management process across multiple projects and regularly advises studio directors on project delivery and resourcing strategies.
Prior to joining GGA, Malcolm directed an array of projects at RMJM (former Hillier Architecture), including Baha Mar in the Bahamas, a masterplan for Madinat al Soor in Dubai and the Sogutozu Hotel in Turkey. His work at Baha Mar—which spanned from the initial concept phases through construction—has given him a deep knowledge of project development within the Bahamian jurisdiction. Also previously, Malcolm worked at BLTA, managing a host of hospitality projects in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Philadelphia. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Bristol and Master of Architecture from London South Bank University.
