This apartment renovation entailed demolition and re-planning of the entire apartment. The kitchen was gutted and enlarged to include a built in banquette nook, with a butler’s pantry and wine storage off the main cooking and food prep area. Existing building risers, extending thru the 30 story building (and unmovable) were incorporated into the kitchen counter and custom millwork. Maid’s room, bathrooms and guest bedrooms were also renovated. A new comprehensive HVAC system was installed and designed to maintain and achieve the high ceilings.
